Violin recital by ASIA featuring an original composition based on the vomit frequency, an infrasonic tone around 18–19 Hz linked to nausea and disorientation. It will be performed at BAM Festival in Barcelona in September.
ASIA plays a 1740 Gennaro Gagliano violin on loan from a private benefactor. She visited the violinist Ivry Gitlis in Paris on numerous occasions. She studied at the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. She has performed at La Fenice in Venice, Buckingham Palace, Wigmore Hall and St Martin-in-the-Fields in London, the Shanghai National Theatre, and Düsseldorf Cathedral. Her projects have been presented in Barcelona (MACBA, Estació de França), Paris (Art Basel Paris, Radio France, École des Beaux-Arts), London (Barbican, ICA London), Berlin (Heimathafen Neukölln), and Lausanne (La Becque).
